The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labayen slips under a jab.
Carlo Labayen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinnochet uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Labayen has time to react.
Pinnochet throws a good cross that connects.
Labayen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Labayen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pinnochet moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Carlo Labayen has been cut.
A lazy left from Labayen finds it's target.

It looks like Ozzie Pinnochet has been cut.
Labayen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Labayen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pinnochet counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pinnochet pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Labayen back to the cage. Pinnochet follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Pinnochet scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Left hook, right uppercut from Pinnochet.
Pinnochet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Labayen misses with a hook to the body
and Pinnochet counters with a nice body shot.

Labayen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pinnochet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Labayen shoots for a takedown but Pinnochet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pinnochet lands with a shot to the body.
Labayen is breathing heavily.
Labayen throws a sloppy body shot
and Pinnochet counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pinnochet connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Labayen momentarily.
Pinnochet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Labayen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Labayen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pinnochet counters with a nice uppercut.
Ozzie Pinnochet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Labayen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pinnochet is working the combinations to good effect here.

Pinnochet lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Labayen backs up against the cage.

Oooooh!!! Pinnochet has knocked Labayen down with a huge combo! Pinnochet steps away and waves a wobbly Labayen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Labayen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A combination from Pinnochet does no damage.

Pinnochet lands a big uppercut and Labayen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Labayen looks OK. Pinnochet waves Labayen back to his feet!
Pinnochet steps in with a hook that catches Labayen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pinnochet follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Labayen looks absolutely devastated.
