Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Buttler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walt Heisenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Buttler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius . Ian Buttler has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heisenberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Buttler is just out of range.
Heisenberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Heisenberg lands a nice looking body shot.
Buttler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Heisenberg misses with a wild body shot.
Heisenberg has his takedown stuffed
and Buttler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Heisenberg keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Buttler.
Buttler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Buttler throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Heisenberg counters with a right hand to the body.

Buttler wants to slow Heisenberg down by chopping away at his legs.

Heisenberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Buttler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Heisenberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Buttler tries to sprawl out of it but Heisenberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buttler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Heisenberg misses the body punch
and Buttler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buttler gets caught flat footed, as Heisenberg shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Heisenberg scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heisenberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Buttler is retaining full guard.
Heisenberg is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Heisenberg pushes down on Buttler's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Buttler wants to control the action here but instead Heisenberg manages to pass to full mount!
Heisenberg content just to control the position here.
Buttler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heisenberg on the ground.
Buttler is breathing heavily.
Heisenberg throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

It looks like Ian Buttler has been cut.
Heisenberg controlling his opponent.

Heisenberg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heisenberg sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Heisenberg connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Heisenberg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Heisenberg gets a takedown into half guard.
Heisenberg throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Heisenberg lands strikes from half guard.
Heisenberg is looking for a kimura but Buttler is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Heisenberg to get the leverage.

Heisenberg moves into full mount! Buttler won't be happy about that!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heisenberg throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Buttler because Heisenberg loaded up on that one.

Heisenberg postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Buttler in real trouble here! The ref calls for Buttler to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
