Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Bunkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sagan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Drowning Pool - Bodies. Bob Bunkers acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Bunkers throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sagan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Sagan counters with a head kick. That will keep Bunkers thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bunkers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sagan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bunkers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sagan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bunkers drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sagan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sagan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sagan!
Sagan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bunkers down.
Bunkers regains half guard, as Sagan was trying to land strikes.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sagan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
