PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between LieHarder Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobo Bubbles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that LieHarder Machete has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily LieHarder Machete seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bubbles gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Machete to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bubbles looking for a sweep. Not yet Bubbles, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Machete advances to half guard.
Machete frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Machete looking for a guillotine from mount but Bubbles is having none of it.

Machete has control of Bubbles's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bubbles regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Bubbles defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Machete.
Machete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Machete wants to finish this one by submission but Bubbles is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Machete.
Machete thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Machete jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bubbles manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Machete has hold of Bubbles's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bubbles tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Machete cranks the arm and Bubbles screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bubbles, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
