The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Freeman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mano counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mano is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Freeman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mano is controlling him.
Freeman pulls Mano in close to his closed guard and prevents Mano from doing any damage or advancing position.

Freeman working for a triangle but Mano defends it easily.

Mano is posturing up here but Freeman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mano tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mano has to tap! Slick submission there by Freeman!
