Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oil Slick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Foul Play (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slick's entrance music is Careful With That Axe Eugene. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Play's choice of entrance music: Simon Says-Pharaohe Monche. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Foul Play enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Slick cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Slick here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Play throws a lazy right hand but Slick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Foul Play seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slick is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slick looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
