Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lava throws a head kick but Liddel moves out of range.
Liddel misses with a lunging right hand
and Lava finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lava is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liddel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Liddel throws a front kick aimed at Lava's knee but Lava avoids it well.
Liddel cracks the inside of Lava's front leg.
Liddel moves out of range as Lava strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lava lands a nice looking body shot.
Lava bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lava tries to land a body kick
and Liddel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lava throws a sloppy body shot
letting Liddel counter with a right hand.
Lava misses with a combination
and Liddel counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lava throws a nice looking combination but Liddel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A jab from Liddel finds it's way through Lava's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lava throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Liddel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lava needs to keep his hands up - Liddel had a free shot at his head there.
Nice jab there from Lava.
Lava rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Liddel counters with a leg kick.
Liddel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lava.
Liddel cracks Lava with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lava falls to his knees and Liddel doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tota Liddel!
