The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylvia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sylvia tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Silva counters with a takedown into side control.
Silva tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sylvia has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sylvia is not content to let Silva control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sylvia!
