The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deschamps throws a right hand that Shinola ducks under and follows up with a left that Shinola also avoids with ease.
Deschamps swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Deschamps scores with a leg kick.
Shinola staying out of range there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Deschamps.
A left and a right from Deschamps both land. Nice combination.
Deschamps misses with a lunging right hand
and Shinola counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Deschamps throws a combination. Shinola tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Shinola shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Deschamps napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Deschamps is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shinola has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Shinola working the strikes but Deschamps uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Deschamps has one foot on Shinola's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Deschamps throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Shinola.

A head kick from Deschamps lands but Shinola takes it in his stride.
Deschamps misses with a low kick as Shinola jumps back.
Deschamps connects with the punch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Deschamps.
Deschamps leaves Shinola with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Shinola drops his hands momentarily and Deschamps takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A lazy body kick from Shinola
and Deschamps finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Deschamps lands a head kick!

Shinola is rocked!
Deschamps feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Shinola collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
