Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Langham!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kato misses with a series of wild punches.
Kato throws a combination that misses
and Langham counters with a big head kick but Kato shrugs it off.
Langham shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Langham missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kato has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Langham is working away from the top position though.
Langham wants to work for an arm triangle but Kato is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kato is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Langham's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Langham's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Langham is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Kato 's hooks.
Kato sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Poor strikes thrown by Kato there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Langham is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kato can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Langham is looking to escape.
Kato cracks Langham with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
