The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ze Spario clinches up with Joyce Pavlenko and pushes him back against the cage.
Ze Spario manages to break the clinch.
Ze Spario tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Joyce Pavlenko throws a nice looking combination but Ze Spario bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Joyce Pavlenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ze Spario tries to avoid it but Joyce Pavlenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ze Spario to the ground. Ze Spario escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Joyce Pavlenko counters with a series of strikes. Ze Spario will be more careful next time no doubt.

Joyce Pavlenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ze Spario.
Ze Spario tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Joyce Pavlenko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Ze Spario takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
