Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trap Door. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mendez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cheese, pushing him back against the cage.
Mendez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Mendez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mendez throws a body punch but Cheese moves out of range.

Mendez rushes Cheese and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cheese is looking to break free of the clinch but Mendez has double underhooks.

Mendez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cheese is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mendez turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mendez manages to end up in side control.

Mendez has hold of Cheese's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cheese manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Cheese really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mendez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mendez is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cheese throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mendez's body to avoid the submission. Mendez has instead reached around Cheese's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mendez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
