The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Paneda to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Paneda could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Williams wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Paneda is looking to stand up but Williams won't let him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.
Williams stands up over Paneda, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Williams postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Paneda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Williams loads up on a big left hand. Paneda felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Williams looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Paneda can't hide his disappointment, as Williams celebrates the victory.
