The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Great closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Rams Great has been cut.
Great misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Great rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Abbott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Abbott blocks the body kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Great takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abbott lands with a good body shot.
Great is breathing heavily.
Abbott clinches up against the cage.
Abbott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Abbott wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Great drops his hands for a split second and Abbott immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Great face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Abbott follows up with a right hand that knocks Great into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Darrell Abbott!
