Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Gillette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Vesque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillette thows a leg kick but Vesque checks it
and Vesque counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Vesque misses with a right hand
and Gillette cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gillette misses with a lunging right hand
and Gillette takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gillette throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vesque counters with a two punch combo.
Gillette misses with a lunging right hand
and Vesque counters with a nice right hand that sends Gillette toppling to the canvas! Gillette scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Vesque finish him?!
Gillette is rocked!
It looks like Jacques Gillette has been cut.

Vesque fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Gillette is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gillette is breathing heavily.
Gillette circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Vesque. Gillette falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Vesque!
