Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Leloup!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sebastien Roy!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leloup tried to score with a low kick but Roy checks it.
Leloup throws a front kick aimed at Roy's knee but Roy avoids it well.
Leloup checks a low kick from Roy.
Roy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Leloup counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Roy thinking.
Leloup throws a leg kick that misses.
Leloup lands a left and a right that send Roy crashing to the mat, dazed. Leloup thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Sebastien Roy has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roy tries for a takedown but Leloup circles away easily
and Roy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Leloup slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That has opened up Sebastien Roy's cut even more.
Roy misses with a takedown attempt
and Leloup counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Roy badly! He tries to strike back but Leloup puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Roy out cold! Oh man, Roy will never hear the end of this one!
