Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Les Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lind comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Cube & Dr Dre - Natural Born Killaz. Grossman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinton Lind!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Les Grossman!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lind circles away.
Grossman just misses with a punch to the body.
Grossman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lind lunges at Grossman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Grossman's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grossman misses with a jab to the body
and Lind counters with a one-two to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lind slips under a jab.
Grossman misses with a takedown attempt - Lind sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lind misses with a left hand

and Grossman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lind's guard.
Grossman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Lind keeping moving, preventing Grossman from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lind looking to control.
Lind wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Lind utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lind is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Quinton Lind just wasn't active enough.
Lind throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Grossman counter with a right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grossman misses with an uppercut
and Lind counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Grossman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lind's waist but Lind gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grossman off to one side.
Quinton Lind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Les Grossman.
Lind throws a right hand that misses
and Grossman counters with a stiff right hand.
Lind does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grossman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lind misses with an uppercut.
Grossman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lind counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Quinton Lind will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Lind tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grossman was well out of range. Poor timing from Lind.
Lind takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lind misses with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grossman tries for a takedown but Lind sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grossman shoots in looking for a takedown but Lind manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Grossman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lind jabs Grossman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lind throws a poor cross that misses

and Grossman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lind!
Grossman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Grossman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lind avoids a series of strikes thrown by Grossman.
Grossman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Grossman throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Lind on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lind tries to get out of the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lind takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


It looks like Quinton Lind has been cut.
Lind holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Grossman tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grossman throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Lind knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grossman on the ground.
Lind blocking the ground and pound.
Grossman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Grossman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Grossman in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


Quinton Lind's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Quinton Lind's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Les Grossman!
