Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Sebek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Noname (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devin Noname has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bushido Sebek!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devin Noname!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sebek throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Noname.
Sebek throws a head kick that misses.
Sebek throws a nice looking combination but Noname bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Noname has his takedown stuffed
and Sebek counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Noname shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Noname trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sebek wants to stand but Noname is controlling the position.
Noname pushing down on Sebek's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sebek looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sebek trying to hold on to Noname's head to control him but Noname postures up.

Noname is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sebek defends it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Noname moves nicely into side control.
Noname wants to control for a moment but Sebek uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Noname wants to work for an arm triangle but Sebek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Noname tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sebek knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Noname moves into full mount! Sebek won't be happy about that!

Noname is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sebek is surviving well by controlling Noname's body position as best he can.

Noname jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sebek is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sebek and Noname has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Noname sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sebek is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Noname has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sebek really wants to buck Noname off and get back to his feet.

Noname has control of Sebek's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sebek regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Noname swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sebek is now in Noname's guard. A big mistake from Noname there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Noname wants to sweep but no luck.
Sebek is looking to stand up but Noname won't let him.

Sebek wanted to stand there but Noname had control of the position.

Noname is working an open guard so Sebek takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bushido Sebek will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sebek pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sebek.
Noname shoots for a double leg takedown but Sebek sprawls well. He's pushed Noname's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice sprawl there from Sebek as Noname shoots in.
Noname is looking to clinch but Sebek is avoiding it.
Sebek cracks Noname with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Noname changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sebek tries to avoid it but Noname manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sebek to the ground. Sebek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bushido Sebek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Noname.
Sebek lands with a nice body kick.
Sebek thows a body kick. Noname tries to catch it but that hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A good leg kick by Sebek.
The crowd cheers as Sebek lands an impressive looking overhand right. Noname doesn't seem phased though.
Devin Noname is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Noname is breathing heavily.
Sebek scores with a decent looking hook.


Noname is rocked!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Sebek! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bushido Sebek!
