Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig has chosen the Smiths - Meat Is Murder as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen gets the takedown into side control.
Allen lands a few punches from side control.
Danzig tries to buck Allen off but Allen is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Danzig to his feet.
Danzig gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Allen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danzig is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mateus Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Allen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Danzig some visible discomfort.
