Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Limit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Yamokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamokov has chosen Every Little Thing Is Gonna Be Alright as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamokov misses with a wild body shot.
Limit looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamokov is just out of range.
Limit throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Limit swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Limit slips under a jab.

Yamokov gets a takedown into half guard.
Yamokov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Limit is trying to control but can't.
Limit is trying to control but Yamokov manages to pass to mount!
Limit is in a horrible position here. Yamokov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Limit leaves Yamokov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yamokov shoots in for a takedown but Limit shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
George Limit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Yamokov.
Limit dodges the punch combination from Yamokov.
Yamokov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Limit, as that shot connected.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Yamokov counters with a single leg into guard. Limit didn't expect that.
Limit wants to stand and escape but Yamokov is having none of it.
Limit wants to improve his position but instead Yamokov has moved into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Yamokov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Limit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yamokov on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Yamokov is taking a breather. Limit says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Limit is in trouble now - Yamokov has advanced to mount!
Limit tries to hold on but Yamokov postures up.

Yamokov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Boris Yamokov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yamokov is defended easily by Limit.

Limit feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yamokovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Limit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
George Limit has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Limit tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yamokov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yamokov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yamokov. Limit does a little dance to reset his feet.

Limit shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Yamokov moves forwards but Limit connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Limit gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Yamokov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Limit needs to keep his hands up - Yamokov had a free shot at his head there.
Yamokov misses with an uppercut. Limit saw that one coming.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yamokov looks to land a combination but Limit avoids it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to George Limit.
I think Yamokov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
