Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarzan Taborda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strife kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is One Winged Angel by The Black Mages. Taborda has chosen New Noise by Refused as his entrance music. Cloud Strife has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taborda thows a left - swing and a miss!
Taborda misses with a lunging right hand
and Strife counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Strife has his takedown stuffed

and Taborda counters with a crisp one two that drops Strife! Taborda thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Strife to his feet! Strife is in big trouble!

Strife is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taborda misses with a double jab

and Strife counters with a single leg into guard. Taborda didn't expect that.

Taborda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Strife gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Strife stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taborda swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Taborda pushes Strife off and gets back to his feet.
Taborda throws a right hand that misses
and Strife counters with a right hand to the body.
Strife fails with the takedown
and Taborda counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Strife steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taborda.

and Taborda counters with a crisp one two that drops Strife! Taborda thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Strife to his feet! Strife is in big trouble!
Oh Strife is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cloud Strife. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Strife misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Strife seems to have got his legs back now.
Strife avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tarzan Taborda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

letting Strife counter with a right hand.

Strife wants to work for an arm triangle but Taborda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Strife prevents Taborda from standing back up.

Taborda cracks Strife with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Strife looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Taborda finish him?

and Taborda counters with a huge left! Strife is in big trouble! He's backing up but Taborda isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Strife from any more damage. A dominating finish by Taborda!
