Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toru Ohta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohta comes to the cage accompanied by Technopolis. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toru Ohta!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Morgan Punch!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch's corner calls for a 1-2. Punch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ohta closes the distance looking to clinch
and Punch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Punch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Punch drops his hands momentarily and Ohta takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Punch with a jab.
Ohta on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ohta tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Punch counters with a stiff right hand.
Ohta takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Punch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ohta cracks Punch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ohta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Punch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Punch connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Punch cracks Ohta with an open hand slap.
Punch throws a body punch but Ohta moves out of range.
Punch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ohta shoots in for a double leg but Punch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Punch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ohta needs to keep his hands up - Punch had a free shot at his head there.
Punch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ohta throws out the jab.
Punch moves out of range of the strikes.
Ohta has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Punch finds it's way round the side to connect with Ohta's head.
Punch looks to land a combination. Ohta sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Morgan Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ohta misses with a hook. Punch ducked under it nicely.
Punch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ohta takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ohta doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Punch counters with a three punch combo that has Ohta backing up. Ohta nods at Punch to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toru Ohta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ohta misses with a few strikes there.
Punch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Punch changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Punch lands a jab to the nose.
Ohta takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ohta ducks right into an uppercut from Punch.
Punch throws a series of strikes that have Ohta backpedaling.
Ohta is rocked!
Punch closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Oh Ohta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punch is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Ohta like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Ohta from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morgan Punch!
