Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Holyshit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holyshit has chosen Let's Go - Trick Daddy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evander Holyshit!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronic misses with a combination
and Kronic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kronic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Holyshit counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kronic misses with a hook
and Holyshit counters with a nice uppercut.
Kronic misses the body punch
and Holyshit counters with an outside leg kick.
Kronic connects with a body shot that sends Holyshit's belly button to the back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kronic tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Holyshit is able to avoid easily.
Kronic throws a combination that misses
and Holyshit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Holyshit makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kronic really felt that one!

Holyshit ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Holyshit connects with a solid leg kick.

Holyshit thuds his right hand into Kronic's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Holyshit connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Holyshit throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Holyshit misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kronic.
Holyshit cracks Kronic with a nice body shot.

Holyshit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kronic avoids it.
Kronic takes an elbow to the temple.
Holyshit lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Holyshit lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kronic is rocked!
Kronic blocking some punches.
Oh Kronic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holyshit swings wildly with an uppercut but Kronic uses good head movement to avoid it.
Holyshit misses with a punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holyshit throws a head punch that misses.
Kronic seems to have got his legs back now.
Holyshit lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Holyshit stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Nice body punch from Holyshit.
Holyshit cracks Kronic with a nice body shot.
Holyshit lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kronic.
Holyshit lands a body shot in the clinch.
Holyshit will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kronic up against the cage.
Holyshit creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kronic's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kronic drops to his knees and Holyshit pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evander Holyshit!
