The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Dixion counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dixion showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Khan is looking to sweep but instead, Dixion has passed into half guard.

Dixion decides to stand up.
Dixion walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Khan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Khan creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Dixion works on Khan's body with a couple of short punches.
Dixion tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Dixion lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dixion lands a nice shot to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Khan.

Dixion drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Khan dives on top into guard.

Khan tries to hold on but Dixion postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dixion throwing strikes but Khan recovers to half guard. A much better position.
Dixion wants to pass the guard but Khan is defending well.
Dixion is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dixion pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dixion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khan's waist but Khan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dixion off to one side.

Khan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Khan wants it to stay on the feet.

Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dixion at a distance.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Dixion lands a left hand that snaps the head of Khan backwards.

Khan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Khan struggles to land a body shot inside as Dixion controls his hands.
Dixion throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Khan lands a left hand.
Khan swings wildly with an uppercut but Dixion uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Khan.
Dixion jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Khan walks away with a smile on his face. Dixion gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Dixion counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dixion.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dixion is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Khan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Khan has escaped and now he's on top!

Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Dixion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Khan lands a really nice looking cross but Dixion seems unphased.
Dan Dixion is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Khan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Dixion moves out of range easily.
Dixion shoots in for a takedown but Khan shows good takedown defense.
Dixion keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Amir Khan will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dixion shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Dixion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dixion shoots in looking for a takedown. Khan tries to sprawl out of it but Dixion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dan Dixion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Dixion counters with a single leg into guard. Khan didn't expect that.

Dixion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Dixion counters with a nice double leg into side control. Khan won't be happy with that.

Dixion tries to advance to mount but Khan denies him.

Dixion goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Khan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dixion but great work by Khan.
Dixion manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Dixion is looking to take a break and control but Khan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dan Dixion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
