Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pebble Braithweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Pickerins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braithweight comes to the cage accompanied by 300 violin. Pickerins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by way of the fist. Pickerins misses with a looping left.
Braithweight shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pickerins as he avoids it easily.

Pickerins swings away with a leg kick that misses.

The fighters circling - Pickerins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Braithweight throws a series of punches but Pickerins moves out of range.

and Braithweight counters with a three punch combo that has Pickerins backing up. Pickerins nods at Braithweight to acknowledge the strikes.

Pickerins wants to sweep here but Braithweight controlling him for the moment.

Pickerins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braithweight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Braithweight postures up in Pickerins's guard and throws a big left but Pickerins blocks it.

Pickerins tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Braithweight thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Braithweight content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Braithweight accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pickerins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pickerins is trying to control. Braithweight wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Braithweight is looking for a sweep. Pickerins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Braithweight is looking to get back to is feet but Pickerins passes into side control.
Braithweight tries to buck Pickerins off but Pickerins is having none of it.

Pickerins has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Braithweight moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Braithweight uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pickerins.
Pebble Braithweight is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pickerins moves away from the strike by Braithweight.

Braithweight tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pickerins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Braithweight somewhat.

and Pickerins counters with a crisp right hand that drops Braithweight! Pickerins lets Braithweight back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pickerins closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Braithweight out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
