The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kozlov, as that shot connected.

Kozlov gets caught napping as Stani dives in and scores a takedown. Kozlov manages to retain guard.
Stani must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Stani really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kozlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kozlov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stani gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kozlov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stani defends well.

Stani postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kozlov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stani, into his guard.

Stani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kozlov manages to get himself to full guard.
