Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aleksey Nikiten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dana Black was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dana Black!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikiten tries to clinch up but Black circles away and keeps his distance.
Aleksey Nikiten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nikiten has a takedown stuffed.
Black misses with a double jab
and Nikiten holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nikiten connects with a nasty looking knee right to Black's face.
It looks like Dana Black has been cut.
Nikiten misses with a knee strike.
Nikiten tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nikiten blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Black goes for a takedown attempt but Nikiten pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nikiten wants to clinch
and Black counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Nikiten down! Black is looking to finish but Nikiten is intelligently defending himself.
Nikiten is rocked!
Black throwing strikes but missing.
Nikiten is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Black is controlling him.

Nikiten wants to sweep but no luck.
Black in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Black throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nikiten works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Black counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oh Nikiten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Black moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Nikiten! Black continues to tee off on Nikiten, landing with a left and a right! Black connects with a right hand that leaves Nikiten sleeping against the ropes! What a finish by Black!
