Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Roddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roddick kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden leaves Roddick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cain Roddick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roddick is looking to score with low kicks.
Durden lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Roddick backs up against the cage.
Durden throws a good cross that connects.
Durden throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Roddick on the side of the head.
Roddick throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Durden counters with a left and a right that stings Roddick.

Roddick moves into the clinch.
Durden misses with a punch to the body.

Roddick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Durden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roddick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Durden!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roddick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Durden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Roddick dodges the punch combination from Durden.
Durden listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Roddick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Durden makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Durden tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Durden smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Durden tries to bum rush Roddick with a series of wild strikes but Roddick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Durden scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Durden lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roddick at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Durden lands an impressive looking overhand right. Roddick doesn't seem phased though.
Roddick moves in looking to clinch but Durden pushes him off.
Roddick throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Durden counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roddick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Durden throws a combination. Roddick tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Durden makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Roddick walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Roddick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Durden counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Roddick is breathing heavily.
Durden looks to land a combination. Roddick sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Cain Roddick has been cut.
Roddick is looking to clinch.
Roddick throws a left and a right that both miss
and Durden counters with a one-two to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Durden. That snapped Roddick's head back.

Roddick is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roddick misses with a lunging right hand
and Durden counters with a crisp right that sends Roddick to the canvas! Durden follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
