Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Batungbakal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batungbakal comes to the cage accompanied by The Only. Ellis has chosen Applejuice by Taintstick as his entrance music. Jason Ellis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Batungbakal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Ellis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Batungbakal momentarily.
Jason Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batungbakal shoots in and drives through. Ellis sprawls well.
Batungbakal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ellis blocks a head kick by Batungbakal.
Ellis with a jab.
Ellis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Batungbakal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ellis connects with a nice looking jab.
Ellis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ellis lands a jab to Batungbakal's midsection.
Batungbakal on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ellis lands with a straight right. Batungbakal didn't see that one coming.
Ellis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ellis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ellis duly obliges.
Ellis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Batungbakal. Those never looked like landing.
Ellis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Batungbakal eats them both and turns towards Ellis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ellis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Batungbakal walks into a left hand.
Ellis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown by Batungbakal or perhaps it was just good defense by Ellis which made him look bad.
Batungbakal is breathing heavily.
Batungbakal throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ellis scores with a nice strike.
Ellis with a hook.
Batungbakal has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Batungbakal there as he acknowledges the shot.
Batungbakal tries to clinch
and Ellis counters with a stiff right hand.
Batungbakal closes the distance and clinches up with Ellis, looking for a takedown. Batungbakal pushes Ellis against the cage but Ellis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Batungbakal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ellis lands a two punch combo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Ellis. That snapped Batungbakal's head back.
Ellis lands a nice shot that snaps Batungbakal's head back.
Ellis fails to land with a series of punches.
Batungbakal walks into a jab.
Batungbakal tries to move into range but Ellis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ellis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ellis lands with a straight right. Batungbakal didn't see that one coming.
Ellis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Batungbakal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ellis tries to avoid it but Batungbakal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ellis to the ground. Ellis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ellis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Batungbakal walks into a left hand.
Batungbakal drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ellis getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Batungbakal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Batungbakal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ellis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ellis punishes Batungbakal's body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ellis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ellis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ellis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


Batungbakal is rocked!
A jab from Ellis finds it's way through Batungbakal's defenses.
Oh Batungbakal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Batungbakal. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Ellis knocks Batungbakal out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jason Ellis!
