Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tam Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ditte Sebastien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zeus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Zeus controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sebastien keeping full guard, as Zeus tries to pass.
Zeus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Zeus tries to free his leg and advance position but Sebastien is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sebastien can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Tam Zeus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sebastien throws a combination that misses

and Zeus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sebastien won't be happy with that.
Zeus is looking to take a break and control but Sebastien is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Zeus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sebastien rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zeus's guard! Nice work there by Sebastien!

Sebastien stands up and waves to Zeus to follow him.

Zeus closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sebastien's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sebastien really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zeus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zeus controlling the position well.
Zeus is staying active underneath Sebastien, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Zeus is trying to maintain the position but Sebastien is very close to passing his half guard.
Sebastien with the ground and pound but Zeus uses the opportunity to regain guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Sebastien counters with a three punch combo that has Zeus backing up. Zeus nods at Sebastien to acknowledge the strikes.

Sebastien throws a nice looking combination but Zeus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tam Zeus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sebastien throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zeus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Sebastien to counter with a crisp jab.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Sebastien counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sebastien will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zeus takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

and Sebastien counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Zeus slips a jab and a cross from Sebastien.
Sebastien throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zeus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Sebastien counter with a right hand.
Zeus has his takedown stuffed
and Sebastien counters with a stiff right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ditte Sebastien showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Zeus dodges the punch combination from Sebastien.
Zeus shoots and misses
and Sebastien counters with a series of strikes. Zeus will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sebastien fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Zeus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Zeus won't allow Sebastien to sweep him here.

Zeus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sebastien manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zeus has Sebastien in his guard.

Zeus is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Zeus has a closed guard, preventing Sebastien from standing up.
Sebastien trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Zeus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sebastien's guard.
Zeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sebastien swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zeus controls from within his opponent's guard.
Sebastien wants to sweep here but Zeus controlling him for the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ditte Sebastien wasn't active enough on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Zeus feints and as Sebastien raises his hands in defense, Zeus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Zeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sebastien swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zeus wants to control from the top but Sebastien keeps moving.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tam Zeus.
I think Zeus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
