PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Meodread Magas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Spat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magas comes to the cage accompanied by Europe - The Final Countdown. Jack Spat will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Magas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Spat counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spat.
Magas keeps control of Spat as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Magas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spat avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

and Spat decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Magas's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Spat hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Magas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Spat on the side of the head.

Spat moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Oooooh!!! Magas has knocked Spat down with a huge combo! Magas steps away and waves a wobbly Spat back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

BOOM! Magas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Spat. Spat tries to recover but Magas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Spat lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
