Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Imum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imum has chosen Candy Paint - Ken Tuck as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Imum makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Imum lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Burton moves out of range as Imum throws a body kick.
Imum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Burton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Imum sprawls well. Imum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burton gets slowly back to his feet.

Burton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Imum is trying to defend but Burton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Burton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Imum swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Imum has managed to clinch.
Imum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Burton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Burton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Some bone on bone action there as Burton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Imum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Burton pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Imum wants to control but Burton is having none of it.

Max Imum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Imum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
