Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff MaGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuyuki Shimizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MaGee comes into the arena with I Just Had Sex (feat. Akon) blaring out of the sound system. Jeff MaGee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MaGee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shimizu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but MaGee circles away quickly and effectively.
Shimizu misses with a straight right.
MaGee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shimizu.
MaGee defending well as Shimizu loads up on a big left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

No joy there for Shimizu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shimizu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
MaGee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shimizu.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shimizu misses the jab.
Shimizu lands a nice looking body shot.
MaGee misses with a body punch
and Shimizu counters with a straight right hand.

Shimizu lands the left hand.

MaGee shoots in looking for a takedown but Shimizu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing MaGee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MaGee maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Shimizu could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but MaGee has cracked it and Shimizu is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by MaGee!
