The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez has a takedown stuffed.
Jaa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jaa throws a head kick that misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marquez takes a knee right on the jaw!
Jaa connects with a nasty looking knee right to Marquez's face.
Jaa is pressed up against the cage. Marquez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jaa down to the mat. Jaa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Marquez.
Marquez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jaa swivels and escapes.
Jaa circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jaa counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Marquez! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Jaa!
