The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas misses with a leg kick.
Vegas tries a head kick but it misses.
Vegas throws a low kick but Fox avoids it.
Vegas throws a lazy uppercut
and Vegas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Vegas tries to land a leg kick but Fox saw it coming and moves away.
Fox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vegas moves away.

and Fox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vegas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fox.

Vegas swings widly with a right hand
and Fox counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vegas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vegas shoots in looking for a takedown. Fox tries to sprawl out of it but Vegas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Vegas moves in looking to clinch but Fox pushes him off.
Vegas throws the left hand but Fox avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fox thuds his right hand into Vegas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Vegas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fox defends it nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vegas, right into the meat.

enabling Fox to counter with a crisp jab.

Vegas tries to close the distance and clinch but Fox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fox throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vegas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Vegas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fox throws a right hand that Vegas ducks under and follows up with a left that Vegas also avoids with ease.

Fox lunges at Vegas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vegas's hand.
Vegas dodges the punch combination from Fox.
Nice defenses there by Fox.
Vegas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fox checks a low kick from Vegas.
Vegas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Vegas shoots in for a takedown but Fox shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vicky Vegas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fox throws a series of punches but Vegas avoids them all with ease.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fox throws a shot to the body.
Vegas darts in trying to clinch
and Fox counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vegas thinking.
Vegas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fox has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Vegas connects with the punch.

Vegas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fox, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Vegas to work.
Fox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Vegas displaying some good clinch control by pressing Fox up against the cage.
Vegas continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Fox is trying to break the clinch but Vegas is controlling him.

Vegas works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Vegas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fox up against the cage.
Fox tries to break free but Vegas pushes him back against the cage.

Fox tries to break the clinch but Vegas is controlling the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Vegas is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fox can't fight it off and eventually Vegas manages to take the fight to the floor. Fox looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well Vegas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
