Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between JJ Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laldama Sailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laldama Sailo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laldama Sailo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailo tries to clinch but Small moves out of range.
Small throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sailo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sailo pulls Small into guard.
Small trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Small trying to move into half guard but instead Sailo has managed to sweep!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Small keeping moving, preventing Sailo from controlling successfully.

Small knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sailo on the ground.
Small is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sailo is fighting to break Small's control of his arms but Small is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

and Sailo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like JJ Small has been cut.
Sailo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Small quickly recovers to half guard.
Sailo wants to control but Small is keeping him busy.

Small wanted to stand there but Sailo had control of the position.
Sailo controls Small momentarily but Small frees himself.
Small will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sailo wants to stand and escape but Small is having none of it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Laldama Sailo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Small counters by moving into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sailo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Small has him pressed against the cage.

Sailo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Small has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sailo is trying to keep an underhook but Small manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Sailo is looking to control Small's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sailo avoid being mounted?
Small is looking to take a break and control but Sailo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A frustrated look appears on Sailo's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Small tightens his grip and picks Sailo up, before dumping him to the ground. Sailo manages to land in guard.
Small decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sailo, up you get!

Small changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sailo fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sailo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Small as he jumps to the side.

Small's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sailo is pressed up against the cage. Small has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sailo down to the mat. Sailo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Small fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sailo to the ground. Small is now in Sailo's guard.

Small throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sailo was covering up waiting for the punch and Small finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Small wants to control from the top but Sailo keeps moving.
Small tries to free his leg and advance position but Sailo is retaining full guard.
Small stands and steps away. Sailo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Sailo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

JJ Small overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Small trying his best to control but Sailo has mounted him.
Sailo gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Small stalks Sailo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sailo's face. Sailo staggers backwards, shaken.

Small shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Small tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Small takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sailo tries to lock up and control but Small gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
