The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Zedong.

It looks like DeVaughn Williams has been cut.
DeVaughn Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zedong misses with a few strikes there.
Zedong swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.
Zedong lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams misses with an uppercut
letting Zedong counter with a right hand.
Williams looks gassed!

Zedong drops Williams with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Williams looks back up at him and smiles so Zedong waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Williams is rocked!
Williams get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Williams stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Zedong runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mao Zedong!
