PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demon Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mega's choice of entrance music: Black and Yellow. Demon Beast is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demon Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Mega!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mega lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Max Mega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mega swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mega lunges at Beast with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Beast's hand.
Mega throws a looping overhand right but Beast ducks down to avoid it.
Mega lands with an overhand left.
Mega misses with an uppercut.
Beast misses with a takedown attempt - Mega sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mega throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mega throws a body punch but Beast moves out of range.
Mega thuds his right hand into Beast's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Beast walks into a left hand.
Mega stuns Beast with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mega throws a right hand that misses
and Beast counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mega misses with a shot to the body

and Beast counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mega is looking to improve his position.
Beast is thwarting Mega's attempts to control the position.

Beast is working for a kimura but Mega is defending it quite comfortably.
Beast lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Beast passes to full mount!
Mega tries to lock up and control but Beast gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Beast looking to finish Mega with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mega!

Beast looking to secure an arm triangle but Mega defends it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mega has left one of his arms exposed and Beast doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mega screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
