Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hajime Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kick out the Jams by The MC5s. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saito uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saito misses with a takedown
and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lee connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Hajime Saito has been cut.
Saito shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Saito, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saito on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lee. Lee obviously looking to wear him down.
Saito looks gassed!
Saito fails with the takedown
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rufus Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hajime Saito.
Lee lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Saito falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
