Flash comes to the cage accompanied by Where's My Money. Glen Shortland looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flash clinches up with Shortland and pushes him back against the cage.
Shortland looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Flash has Shortland pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shortland manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Flash manages to break the clinch.

Flash shoots in and bounces Shortland off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Flash has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Flash scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Flash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Flash is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Flash has his feet on Shortland's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Flash tries for a takedown but Shortland sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Shortland chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Flash can pounce on him.

Flash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Shortland has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Flash.

Flash shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Shortland is on queer street and Flash is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
