The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suruviesti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rauma misses with a left hand
and Suruviesti counters with a three punch combo that has Rauma backing up. Rauma nods at Suruviesti to acknowledge the strikes.

Suruviesti throws the left hand but Rauma avoids the punch easily.
Oh Rauma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

letting Rauma counter with a right hand.
Rauma seems to have got his legs back now.
Suruviesti doesn't manage to clinch there - Rauma circles away.

Suruviesti throws an overhand right that lands on Rauma's shoulder, as Rauma tries to avoid the shot.
Suruviesti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rauma paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Suruviesti chopping away at his opponent's legs.
An inside leg kick from Suruviesti misses.
Rauma punishes Suruviesti's body with a nice straight punch.

Simppa Suruviesti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suruviesti throws a nice looking combination but Rauma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rauma misses with a lunging right hand
and Suruviesti counters with a stiff right hand.
Rauma walks straight into a right hand from Suruviesti - that's dropped him! Suruviesti jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rauma from any more punishment! Rauma complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
