Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaguar D Saul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donte Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saul misses with a body punch
and Smith holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Saul has Smith pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Saul pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Smith tumbling to the mat - Saul dives into Smith's guard.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.
Saul content to stall in guard here.
Saul has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Saul's guard.

and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Saul's guard.

Donte Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saul shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Smith counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Smith.
Saul lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith!
Saul looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Saul jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Smith is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Smith and Saul has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
