Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Why (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mark Two has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mark Two seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Two has managed to clinch.
Two tries a body shot but Why blocks it.
Two misses with a body punch.

Why ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Why no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Why can't keep his opponent in guard - Two advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Why keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Two wants to take a breather but Why is having none of it.
Two is pressing down on Why's thigh, looking to free his foot. Why is holding on for now.
Why trying to control from the bottom.
Two is keen to just control but Why is a slippery customer.
Two wants to pass to mount but Why is defending the position.
Why is doing well to control the position and prevent Two from advancing to side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Why lands with a straight right. Two didn't see that one coming.

Two shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Why's guard.

Why keeping full guard, as Two tries to pass.

Why looking for a guillotine here but Two defends easily.
Two preventing the sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Why is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Two trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Why trying to control the position.
Two wants to control from the top but Why keeps moving.

Two trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Two is working hard here to advance position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mark Two.
Two stuffs the takedown attempt from Why. Why gets slowly back to his feet.

Why gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Why tries to pull guard but Two won't allow it.

Why drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Why working a defensive guard but Two passes into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Why is trying to maintain the position but Two is very close to passing his half guard.
Two wants to take a breather but Why is having none of it.

Two is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Why reverses the position - he's now on top in Two's guard.
Two lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Why!
Two cracks Why with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Two can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Why is looking to escape.
Two avoids the attempt from Why to control.
Why slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Two prevents Why from improving his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Why is pressing down on Two's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Why keeping moving, preventing Two from controlling successfully.
Why is pulling down on Two's head. It's preventing any offense from Two, at least for the moment.
Why throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Two trying to control but Why is working from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Why has his feet on Two's thighs here. He's pushed Two off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Two screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
