Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boby Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sully - Flash back. Stevenson has chosen Rock 'N' Roll High School as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Stevenson moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Lee lands a jab-cross combination.

enabling Stevenson to counter with a crisp jab.

Stevenson wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Lee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stevenson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevenson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Lee controlling from the top position.
Jeff Stevenson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stevenson seems keen to control Lee's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jeff Stevenson.

Stevenson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Stevenson throwing strikes but Lee manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Lee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Lee lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stevenson down.

Boby Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
