PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Collin Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaleb Aslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 24s. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aslan feints and then cracks Thompson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thompson down.

Aslan tightens his grip and picks Thompson up, before dumping him to the ground. Thompson manages to land in guard.
Aslan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Thompson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aslan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Aslan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Thompson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aslan softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Thompson is out cold! Aslan jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
