Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Mostat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyryato Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machado clinches up with Mostat and pushes him back against the cage.

Machado has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mostat uses from the top position.

Machado is looking for a triangle but Mostat pushes his legs off easily.
Machado is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mostat working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Mostat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machado on the ground.

Mostat goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Machado turns into him and now he's in Mostat's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Machado decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Machado counters with a single leg into guard. Mostat didn't expect that.
Machado wants to control from the top but Mostat keeps moving.
Mostat tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mostat walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mostat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machado.

Machado fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mostat sprawls well initially but Machado persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Machado is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mostat is staying active.

Machado lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Mostat is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Machado connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Mostat to escape the position.
Machado really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Mostat.

Machado is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Mostat has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Machado has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Mostat taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Machado doesn't care though - he's delighted!
