Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antti Miettinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Nevinyrral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcin Nevinyrral will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevinyrral closes the distance looking to clinch
and Miettinen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Miettinen stops Nevinyrral from standing up.
Miettinen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Nevinyrral is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nevinyrral avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Miettinen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Miettinen is working Nevinyrral over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Miettinen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nevinyrral manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nevinyrral dodges the punch combination from Miettinen.
Nevinyrral shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Miettinen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nevinyrral unloads with some shots from mount but Miettinen bucks and avoids them well.
You get the feeling that Miettinen really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miettinen tries to lock up and control but Nevinyrral gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Nevinyrral misses with a head shot.
Nevinyrral lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Nevinyrral is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nevinyrral throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Miettinen is looking to get to half guard.
Nevinyrral lands a nice shot to the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miettinen tries to hold on but Nevinyrral postures up.
Nevinyrral has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Miettinen's face.

Nevinyrral goes for a takedown attempt but Miettinen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
