The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sclerosis tries a head kick but it misses.

Reks moves into the clinch successfully.

Reks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sclerosis delivers a nice body kick.

It looks like Aries Reks has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Reks.
Reks fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reks shoots for a double leg takedown but Sclerosis sprawls well. He's pushed Reks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sclerosis.

Reks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sclerosis can pounce on him.

Sclerosis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sclerosis.

That has opened up Aries Reks's cut even more.
Sclerosis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reks. That did some damage!
Sclerosis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Reks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sclerosis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Billiary Sclerosis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sclerosis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Good exchange - Sclerosis coming out on top.
Reks walks into a left hand.
Sclerosis tries a head kick but it misses.
Reks misses with a combination
and Sclerosis counters with an outside leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reks crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sclerosis - the referee stops the clock and Reks gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sclerosis. Reks manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sclerosis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Horrible takedown by Reks or perhaps it was just good defense by Sclerosis which made him look bad.

Sclerosis gets tackled into the cage by Reks. Reks maintains the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reks.
Reks can't get the takedown.
Reks tries to pull guard but Sclerosis won't allow it.

Reks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reks lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Reks has managed to clinch.

Reks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sclerosis sprawls well. Sclerosis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reks gets slowly back to his feet.

Reks moves into the clinch successfully.

Reks has picked Sclerosis up - he's going for a ride! Reks dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Reks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Reks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sclerosis is trying to defend but Reks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reks is defended easily by Sclerosis.
Reks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sclerosis as he avoids it easily.

I would just about give that final round to Aries Reks.
