Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Manningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Manningham might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe . Brown has chosen F.E.A.R as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manningham scores with a sloppy right hand. Brown should have avoided that one.
Brown checks a leg kick.
Brown pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brown cracks a nice hook into Manningham's ribs.
Brown catches Manningham with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manningham has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown is trying to force a seperation but Manningham has the dominant position.
Brown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Manningham has him pressed against the cage.
Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Manningham throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manningham as he avoids it easily.
Manningham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

Manningham moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
Manningham is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Manningham down to the mat. Manningham avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Manningham is looking to chop away at Brown's legs.

Manningham has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown has had enough of the clinch but Manningham keeps him there for the moment.
Manningham tries to score a body lock takedown but Brown shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Manningham breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice cross by Brown.
Manningham pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brown is out of range and Manningham settles back down.

Brown throws a left that rocks Manningham and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Brown dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Manningham regain composure!

It looks like Kurt Manningham has been cut.

Manningham is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Manningham tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control.

Brown tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Manningham.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Manningham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manningham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Manningham is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Brown has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
