Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewanye Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Here We go again as his entrance music. Frank Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dewanye Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets a takedown into half guard.
Wallace punching from the bottom.
Wallace gets full guard.
Wallace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Smith with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Smith chips away with some ground and pound.
Wallace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.
Wallace scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Smith makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Smith.
Smith thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Wallace working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Wallace is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.
Smith looking for a sweep. Not yet Smith, not yet.
Wallace throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smith works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith tries to clinch up.
Wallace shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith lunges at Wallace with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wallace's hand.
Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No luck for Wallace with that takedown attempt.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallace swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Wallace to the canvas! Wallace doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Smith keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
